Our client is one of the broadest based renewable energy companies and is active in the development, construction and ownership of wind farms on a global scale

You will have the responsibility for development activities from site identification and selection to consenting and financial close of wind farms and solar projects (PV and CSP). In cooperation the Development Director, you will formulate and implement a regional development plan. Working independently you will be responsible for managing internal and external resources.

You will take a lead in developing and securing key development assets including licenses & building permits, land agreements, grid connection agreements, long term off-take agreements. You will deal with the various stakeholders and manage development support from within the group.

The Candidate

With an Engineering or a Business degree, you have a significant experience in developing infrastructure projects in renewable energies or conventional power generation (preferred, but not essential).

You have dealt with planning authorities and other project stakeholders, including landowners, project contractors, external consultants and development partners.

Aptitude for project management and leadership, self-motivation with a keen interest in the renewable energy sector is needed.

You are a team player with good interpersonal skills and entrepreneurial abilities.

Fluency in English and Turkish.

Should also possess a current Turkish driving licence.

Location in Istanbul, but travel, both within the country and internationally will be necessary.
