Our client is a leading developer of large scale solar thermal power plants managing the entire lifecycle from project identification and development, through financing and ultimately the turn-key construction and operation of the power plant.

As part of our client’s continued growth we are seeking to hire an experienced Site Team Manager to lead and coordinate construction activities.

Responsibilities

·         Personnel management of the building site team

·         Participate in the preparation planning and start up execution phases

·         Co-ordination of building site monitoring (solar field and oil circulation) during the mechanical and electrical assembly, as well as monitoring of start-up phase

·         Guidance of a building diary with reporting to the director of the project

·         Analysis and documentation of technical and financial aspects and maintaining schedule objectives

·         Supporting the director of the project and close co-operation with the customer

·         Monitoring of quality controls after installation, start-up, maintenance and repair work

Experience

·         Engineering or Construction degree or relevant discipline

·         Extensive experience of leading major construction projects. Preferably on Power or Energy projects or on large scale industrial projects.

·         Commitment to travel and undertake long-term international projects

·         German and English language skills and negotiation experience

·         International working experience beneficial
