Senior Project Manager Renewable Energy (UK)

Our client is a global leading consultancy in planning, engineering, environmental and sustainability management. We are seeking to enhance the Renewable Energy team with the hire of a highly experienced Project Manager to be based out of the UK with an international project focus.
The role will focus on Wind and Biomass pre-development and development projects across Europe the Middle East and Africa and ideal candidate will be experienced in one or both of these sectors. You will work closely with the business development team to identify and capitalise on business opportunities, developing comprehensive business and project proposals for our clients. You will undertake the technical leadership of large multidisciplinary projects in all areas of predevelopment and development work, managing the entire project lifecycle through to completion.
Experience in leading similarly complex renewable energy projects is essential and the ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion renewable energy. You will have extensive experience in renewable energy project due diligence and a background in leading similar projects in either a developer or consulting environment is highly desirable. Knowledge of turbine supply issues and contracts is advantageous.
