Sales Manager (m/f) Germany Based

 

Our client is a leading developer of large scale solar thermal power plants managing the entire lifecycle from project identification and development, through financing and ultimately the turn-key construction and operation of the power plant.

As part of our client’s continued growth we are seeking to hire an experienced Sales Manager.

 

Responsibilities

  • Aim:  acquisition of new CSP / solar thermal power station EPC projects
  • Market observation, identification and selection of new project opportunities
  • Systematic planning and organisation of sales strategy
  • Internal and external coordination of the acquisition projects with all internal and external partners as well as regional branch offices of the group
  • Controlling and support of the internal licensing procedures together with the Proposal manager
  • Production and conversion of offer strategies and tender analyses
  • Support during the offer generation and negotiation of a treaty, offer pursuit, competitor analysis, generation of incoming orders, strengths/weakness analysis of the offer activity, reporting, sales budget planning and control.

 

Experience

  • Successful conclusion of an engineer or an economic engineering degree or equivalent
  • Extensive professional experience in the international construction/project environment
  • Very good English knowledge, knowledge of a further foreign language (e.g. Spanish) of advantage Very good knowledge of the usual Office software (Word, Excel, Ms-Project)

  • Flexible in relation to international travel
