Our client is a leading developer of large scale solar thermal power plants managing the entire lifecycle from project identification and development, through financing and ultimately the turn-key construction and operation of the power plant. As part of our client’s continued growth we are seeking to hire an experienced Research and Development Engineer.

Your task:

• Economic analysis of a solar tower power plant with an innovative receiver;
• Design and specification of the components of a solar tower power plant with a focus on receiver;
• Design and specification of the heat-transfer fluid circulation;
• Performance-/yield monitoring using existing simulation tools;
• Costing.

Your profile:

• A degree in engineering or mechanical engineering;
• Experience in the design of heat exchangers;
• Experience in engineering, especially process control of thermal fluids;
• Knowledge of solar technology, in particular of tower power plants;
• Team orientation, flexibility and resilience;
• Fluent German and English;
• Willingness to travel internationally.
