Research and Development Engineer (m / w)

 

Our client is a leading developer of large scale solar thermal power plants managing the entire lifecycle from project identification and development, through financing and ultimately the turn-key construction and operation of the power plant. As part of our client’s continued growth we are seeking to hire an experienced Research and Development Engineer.

 

Your task:

 

• Economic analysis of a solar tower power plants;

 • Design and specification of the components of a solar tower power plant / focusing heliostat field;

 • Performance / yield monitoring using existing simulation tools;

 • Costing.

 

Your profile:

 

• Graduate degree in Industrial Engineering, etc.;

 • Experience in design and simulation of heliostat fields;

 • Basic knowledge of solar technology, in particular of tower power plants;

 • Team orientation, flexibility and resilience;

 • German and English fluent;

 • Willingness to travel.
