Our client is a leading global developer of advanced thin-film photovoltaic products and solutions based on tandem-technology. The company produces a-Si/a-Si PV-modules that benefit from efficiency increases of at least 10 per cent when compared with sin­gle layered amorphous silicon (a-Si) modules. Our client is targeting becoming a top-3 global thin-film PV player within the short term.

Specific responsibilities for the position include response to technical inquiries about our client’s products and overall PV system performance, field troubleshooting of all issues and handling customer returns. You will also provide support in the development of technical manuals and product usage guides for the European, Middle East and North African markets. Experience and understanding of local code requirements that may influence product design advantageous.

Responsibilities:

· Defining of best system solutions for our modules in large roofs and ground mounted PV

· installations together with our customers (system integrators)

· Design, installation and evaluation (electrical/mechanical) of a PV test field

· Selection and qualification of system of balance (BOS) components to result in optimized systems solutions

· PV system performance simulation, component match and system sizing

· Execution of energy yield analyses and IRR predictions

· Design and evaluation of mounting systems

· Definition of PV system solutions as an attractive financial product

· Co-operating with Engineering towards CIP (continuous improvement program)

Requirements:

· Experience in the PV industry, mainly on the system integration side for at least 3 years

· Knowledge of various technical approaches of mounting structures and electrical structures concerning grid connection

· Knowledge of the cost challenge of thin fi lm based PV systems compared to c-Si based PV Systems

· Project financing skills

· Engineering background (ME/EE)

· Excellent written and verbal skills in English
