Our client is a leading developer of large scale solar thermal power plants managing the entire lifecycle from project identification and development, through financing and ultimately the turn-key construction and operation of the power plant.

As part of our client’s continued growth we are seeking to hire an experienced Proposal Manager.

Responsibilities

• Coordination and guidance of the offer generation process of international EPC projects in the solar thermal and conventional power plant construction space
• Drafting, formulation and conversion of offer strategies in the group with international partners
• Technical and economic analysis, commentating and optimization of tender defaults
• Technical and commercial evaluation of offers from subcontractors
• Provide from price mirrors to the systematic selection of suppliers
• Responsible for project documentation including quality control and quality management systems
• Project-specific knowledge transfer to the Procurement manager
• Budget and fixed price determination
• Presentation of the offer with customers and partners

Experience

• Degree in a relevant discipline
• Relevant professional experience in the building of large-scale installations. Experience of Solar Thermal, Diesel-Electric, Power Production or Electricity Generation projects advantageous.
• International project experience
• Very good knowledge of the English language. In addition, good Spanish, French and/or basic knowledge of Arabic highly desirable
• MS-Office
• Strong under pressure, flexible, adaptable and a good team player.
