Our client is a medium sized renewable energy focused consultancy, established for over ten years , with an industry leading client list. The consultancy specialises in the field of project management support services in renewable energy, handling the complete range of disciplines, from project conception to completion and operational management. The firm has a network of offices located throughout the UK.

Our client is currently looking to recruit Project Managers to provide Project Management and technical support to key accounts in onshore and offshore wind and other renewable technologies.

We are also looking to recruit Project Managers with specifically Cables / Electrical experience to work preferably from the Romsey Office.

These roles report to the Senior Project Managers in delivering project support and technical advice to a range of clients in the renewable energies industry.

Candidates for these roles need to be able to show a good track record of project management and delivery preferably in the renewable energy industry, but candidates who feel that they can bring transferable knowledge & experience from other sectors should also apply.

Working directly with clients and partners, candidates for these roles should be excellent communicators and team players, with experience of working with a range of internal and external stakeholders in the delivery of high profile projects.

Key attributes

Essential

3 years experience working in a lead Project Management role
Specifically Cables / Civil engineering Experience for Cables role
Engineering Graduate calibre
Excellent appreciation of project organisational constraints
Excellent commercial awareness
Experience of managing a broad range of both internal & external stakeholders

Advantageous

Chartered MCIOB / MAPM / MRICS/ MICE/ MIMechE or equivalent
Experience in a commercial renewable energies environment
Broad understanding of the renewable energy markets
Proven track record within a consultancy environment
