Our client is a medium sized renewable energy focused consultancy, established for over ten years , with an industry leading client list. The consultancy specialises in the field of project management support services in renewable energy, handling the complete range of disciplines, from project conception to completion and operational management. The firm has a network of offices located throughout the UK.

With the growth of the Project Delivery area of the business our client is looking to appoint additional Project Engineers to the team.

We are also looking to recruit Project Engineers with specifically Cables / Electrical experience to work preferably from our Romsey Office.

The Project Engineer role is a key position providing support to the project delivery team across a broad range of projects in the renewable energy field especially in onshore and offshore wind.

We are seeking suitably qualified Project Engineers with a good level of experience in Project Management preferably form the field of renewable energy. Suitably experienced candidates who feel they have transferable skills from other sectors are also invited to apply.

Candidates should have the ability to work with a variety of both internal and external stakeholders across projects and the organisation, so good communication skills and the ability to work as a team are paramount.

Key attributes

Essential

Relevant experience working in a Project Engineering role
Specifically Cables / Electrical engineering experience for Cables role
Minimum HND / HNC engineering related qualification

Advantageous

Chartered MCIOB / MAPM / MRICS/ MICE/ MIMechE or equivalent
Experience in a commercial renewable energies environment
Broad understanding of the renewable energy markets
Proven track record within a consultancy environment
