Our client is a leading developer of large scale solar thermal power plants managing the entire lifecycle from project identification and development, through financing and ultimately the turn-key construction and operation of the power plant. As part of our client’s continued growth we are seeking to hire an experienced Project Developer.

Your responsibilities

• Developing solar thermal power plants taking into account technical, legal and commercial requirements

 • Preparation and establishment of project companies for the management and structuring of developments and investments

 • Preparation of financial and economic analysis and business models for structuring the financing and capital

 • Support of the corporate planning process with strategic and market technical analysis, and knowledge of local markets

Your qualifications

• Successfully completed degree in engineering or industrial engineering

 • Experience with site analysis for solar thermal power plants, as well as demonstrable experience in project development
• Knowledge and experience with satellite databases and geotechnical information systems, data processing and data analysis
• Experience in the evaluation and optimization of management and maintenance concepts for industrial systems
• Good English, Spanish and French language skills
• Cross-cultural (professional) experience in Anglo-American and European (Spain, France, Germany) microeconomic environment
• Experienced user skills with MS Office suite as well as experienced dealing with Visual Basic, C + + or similar software, for programming complex financial valuation analysis tools
• Willingness for frequent travel and temporary assignments abroad
