Our client is a leading global developer of advanced thin-film photovoltaic products and solutions based on tandem-technology. The company produces a-Si/a-Si PV-modules that benefit from efficiency increases of at least 10 per cent when compared with sin­gle layered amorphous silicon (a-Si) modules. Our client is targeting becoming a top-3 global thin-film PV player.

Duties and responsibilities:

· Defining our clients PV modules regarding technical performance and optimized total system costs

· Taking effort in obtaining module certification

· Defining peripheral parameters (balance of system) in close co-operation with PV system designers

· Technical support of the Sales Department at customer conversations and meetings

· Understanding of market trends and summarization of product requirements

Requirements:

· Experience in the PV industry for at least 3 years

· Knowledge of various technical approaches of Balance of System (BOS)

· Knowledge of cost challenge of thin-film based PV systems compared to c-Si based PV systems

· Engineering background (ME/EE)

· English capable of reading and writing
