Our client is a leading developer of large scale solar thermal power plants managing the entire lifecycle from project identification and development, through financing and ultimately the turn-key construction and operation of the power plant. As part of our client’s continued growth we are seeking to hire an experienced Operations & Maintenance Engineer.

Your responsibilities

• Planning and structuring operations and maintenance procedures for the operation of solar thermal power plants during the acquisition and processing phase;

• Supporting bid calculations for Operations & Maintenance (O & M);

• Planning of maintenance and repair services to ensure the long-term function of the system, taking into account the overall availability of the system;

• Calculation of O & M costs for the preparation of O & M services;

• Technical assistance to O & M contract negotiations with the customer;

• Co-ordinating Cross-project personnel, as well as participation in, and the award of contracts.

Your qualifications

• Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Power Plant Engineering, Chemical Engineering or relevant technical discipline with at least 10 years of relevant work experience;

• Practical experience in Operation & Maintenance;

• Experience in the implementation of supply calculations;

• Basic knowledge in the design of O & M contracts;

• Good English skills;

• Leadership and capacity.
