Our client is one of the broadest based renewable energy companies and is active in the development, construction and ownership of wind farms on a global scale

Reporting to the Business Development Director, your main focus will be to identify and to secure development opportunities in wind power, photovoltaics and CSP (thermodynamic solar)

As part of your activity, you will be required to take a lead in the negotiation and completion of partnerships, joint ventures and strategic acquisitions in the defined region. You will support the establishment of local teams and the growth of business in the target markets.

The Candidate

You have a Business or an Engineering degree (ideally both), with a significant experience in the development of power stations in Africa or the Middle East.

Experience working with bilateral or multilateral funding agencies (World Bank, GEF, EIB, European Union, etc.) would be an asset.

You are results oriented and have excellent communication and management skills.

 You have the ability to work autonomously, but also to lead and motivate teams. This position needs a good balance of strategic and execution capabilities.

Fluency in English, French and Arabic.

Location in Avignon, South of France. Flexibility to consider other locations in the region. Frequent travel abroad.
