Our client is a leading global developer of advanced thin-film photovoltaic products and solutions based on tandem-technology. The company produces a-Si/a-Si PV-modules that benefit from efficiency increases of at least 10 per cent when compared with sin­gle layered amorphous silicon (a-Si) modules. Our client is targeting becoming a top-3 global thin-film PV player within the short term.

Specific responsibilities for the position include response to technical inquiries about our client’s products and overall PV system performance, field troubleshooting of all issues and handling customer returns. You will also provide support in the development of technical manuals and product usage guides for the European, Middle East and North African markets. Experience and understanding of local code requirements that may influence product design advantageous.

Responsibilities:

· Systemic cause analysis of fl aws and malfunctions of PV modules

· Documentation and categorization of fl aws and malfunctions

· Cooperation with the development team at improving the PV modules

· Executing of testing and optimizing works on the PV modules

Requirements:

· Technical background in the fi eld of automation, electrotechnology or mechatronics (certified technician, mechatronic or electrician)

· Three years experience in technical customer support, preferably Solar/PV

· Good knowledge in the field of defect analysis and removing of malfunctions

· Good knowledge of MS Office

· Good knowledge of English

· Teamwork ability, flexible, able to work under pressure, adaptive

· Reliable and aware of quality

· Highly independent work mode and high readiness to work
