Contracts Manager Utilities
Our client is a global leader in all aspects of Clean Technology from new technology innovation through to manufacturing and ultimately energy production. In 2006 they launched their global cooperative platform for open engagement in the search for solutions to some of the planet’s
most pressing issues: energy security, climate change and truly sustainable human development. Purpose:
Taking over tasks in our power projects, which are related to project related contracts, such as power purchase agreements, EPC contracts, O&M contracts, gas supply agreements etc.
 
Responsibilities:
Managing power project related contracts, such as PPA’s, EPC and O&M contracts, Gas supply agreements, Share Holder Agreements and others
•Drafting these contracts according to our client’s needs
•Negotiating these contracts with JV partners
•Negotiating these contracts for our JV’s with Utilities and other involved external entities
•Structure the project companies (SPV’s) established
•Economic project evaluation
 
Requirements:
 
Education
•MBA or Lawyer
•At least 5 years of industry experience in the power sector (preferable with a utility)
Competencies
•Project Management skills
•Assertive in negotiations
•Able to deal with several projects at the same time
•Ability to work and thrive under pressure and deliver under tight deadlines
•Have strong communication skill in English and preferably also in Arabic.
•Excellent leadership, time & relationship management and analytical skills.
•Should have an outgoing and pleasing personality.
