This is a unique opportunity to join one of the most exciting ventures in this area and play a key role in defining the future of energy production. Key Responsibilities · Undertaking pre-feasibility assessments of wind (& other renewable energy) projects on a global basis · Leading all pre-development work on a variety of wind development projects, both on and offshore, from small wind farm projects to 1000MW+ offshore fields. · Managing the development of wind (& other renewable energy) projects from project inception through to construction and commissioning · Analysing new opportunities as and when they arrive · Tendering of equipment and EPC contractors. · Financial evaluation of potential projects. · Managing external consultants Job Requirements: Education Degree level certificate in Engineering / Sciences Master of Science or equivalent Experience Wind Farm Development including: Experience of Wind Energy Optimisation Software, Wind energy yield predication , pre-feasibility and feasibility study analysis, wind turbine procurement, wind turbine siting etc. Competencies Wind Project management methodology Fluent English Excellent Communicator Excellent Office Skills especially Excel. Negotiation Skills Access GIS |
