Business Analyst

Our client is a professional firm of strategic advisors with a proven track record in the global wind energy industry. This has given them detailed insight and market intelligence which they make every effort to translate into an end product that provides clients with a competitive advantage.


They are as passionate about renewable energy as you probably are, and have developed the analytical skills and tools to match. They provide sound, consolidated advice and research. They add value to clients’ renewable energy businesses by delivering vital research results and strategic advice, facilitating decision-making at executive level and providing clients with a competitive advantage in making their organisations profitable and successful.
 
The Position

They are now looking for a talented and highly-motivated Business Analyst to join their team in Tianjin, P.R. China. As a Business Analyst you will be involved in both advisory projects and market research. Specific tasks include:

  • Primary desk and field research in order to build and maintain the industry’s best and most up-to-date knowledge of and insight in the wind industry, its drivers and future development;
  • Processing and analysis of collected data and informatio;
  • Clear and insightful communication of findings, through research notes, reports, presentations and other deliverable;
  • Participation in project teams on advisory projects.
The Profile
 
You possess exceptional skills within both qualitative and quantitative analysis. It is crucial that you can identify and focus on the key underlying issues when faced with large amounts of information and that you are able to utilise facts to support your analysis work. Furthermore, it is important that you are a self-starter, have a high work-rate and possess the necessary drive and determination to learn and develop your knowledge and abilities.

You hold a relevant education on a bachelor or master’s level and already have experience from the wind industry.

You have exceptional communication skills and professionalism, as required to service our clients that include many of the leading companies within renewable energy.

You are fluent in English and Chinese, both orally and written and is comfortable working against deadlines which is a natural element of the work we do.
