Corporate Responsibility Director

Our client is a $multi-billion, global leader in the design and production of innovative microprocessor, graphics and media solutions for the computer, communications, and consumer electronics industries. Headquartered in California with operations around the globe, the company employs over 17,000 people.

 

We are seeking to recruit a highly experienced "CR heavyweight" to spearhead their Corporate Responsibility strategy globally. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a long-term Corporate Responsibility strategy for our client. You will manage the required strategies and tactics to integrate CR into all of our client's business lines and operating units. You will advise senior management of CR risks and opportunities and recommend strategic options.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in global corporate responsibility or a related field, preferably with some international experience
  • Prior experience in the private sector with a broad understanding of corporate business practices
  • Relevant industry or technical experience a bonus
  • Demonstrable ability to develop a comprehensive CR strategy and drive consensus with diverse stakeholders across various organisations and managerial boundaries
  • Experience with various external CR standards and benchmarks with a solid knowledge of best practices and the ability to identify future trends
  • Track record of facilitating transparency around CR issues
  • Experience with the development of policies, guidelines and/or programs related to CR in a large, global organisation
