We are seeking Principal and Senior Consultants to provide high quality, independent and objective advice in support of the development and implementation of environmental and energy policies.

Technical / Functional Skills

• Ideal candidates will have:
• Experience of policy consultancy or policy delivery within the public sector environment
• Expertise in using policy analysis tools such as cost benefit analysis and multi-criteria analysis
• Expertise in policy evaluation using quantitative and qualitative techniques
• Experience of policy analysis and appraisal, specifically focused on environmental issues.
• Use of carbon footprinting tools and techniques
• Knowledge of key policy issues in the climate change area at EU or UK level
• Knowledge of climate change mitigation technologies and/or adaptation options
• MSc or PhD in an energy/climate change related subject desirable
• Previous experience of leading project teams
• Project management & managing complex projects and proposals
  

Although not an essential part of this role, we would welcome candidates who have an active interest in business development within this field and looking to broaden their experience with a prestigious environmental consultancy whos work is highly regarded within the policy field.
