Our expertise covers a wide range of environmental areas including soil, water, air, wastes and noise and our consultants have an in-depth knowledge of environmental technology, legislation, regulations, management systems and communications.

Job description

Our Client is seeking to establish a new environmental team in Aberdeen to provide environmental consultancy services to the oil and gas industry. We are currently looking for a team leader who will be primarily focussed on the Aberdeen market and will also form part of the wider global network of oil and gas professionals working within Royal Haskoning on projects in Eastern Russia, Africa, Central Asia and the Middle East.

Duties will include recruiting a team of oil and gas professionals to work in a variety of fields, including EIA/SEA/Cumulative IA, environmental engineers and health and safety The ideal candidate will have the following:-

• Ability and desire to establish and lead a team of consultants working for an international consultancy.
  Sector knowledge and ability to identify opportunities and to win work to support a team of consultants.
• Excellent communication, project management and reporting skills essential.
• Experience of the Aberdeen oil and gas community
• Experience of large infrastructure EIA, Environmental auditing, Environmental permitting and regulation or Environmental engineering in offshore and onshore facilities.
